Has it already been 8 months?

God is faithful and good...

Tonight I graduate from the first class of the Bridge Street Mission School. I don't even know where to begin to put words to these last 8 months other than to say that     God is good... God is faithful.

I look back and see all the laughs had, the tears cried, the hugs given, the arguments fought, the encouragement spoken.

The beauty of community.

The words and promises spoken... My Child, Redeemed, Disciple, Mary's Heart

Identity spoken... A heart changed!

The Lord your God is with you,
 the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
 in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17

She is clothed with strength and dignity;
 she can laugh at the days to come.
 She speaks with wisdom,
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
 Proverbs 31:25-26.30

A love transformed,
Refined,
Eyes open,
A heart broken

A long to see the shalom of the Kingdom established.
A yearning to seek the face of God.
A passion forming.
A desire for more.
Truth to be revealed.

The Peace the surpass all understanding
The joy of the Lord amidst the grieving
The void filled during mourning
The faithfulness of God
In You death has lost its sting
Trust

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
    and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
    Or who has been his counselor?”
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
    To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Romans 11:33-36

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”  for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.
